Rev. Lisa Bryson, Founder and Executive Director
Lisa Bryson is the Founder and Executive Director of Praising Through Recovery, PTR's Trinity Recovery House for Men, & Covered Bridge Recovery House for Women. An ordained minister and International Missionary Lisa has also served as Associate Minister & Youth Pastor of St. Abraham Baptist Church. She is currently an active partner of the Bridgeway Community Church which is located in Columbia Maryland where she leads the Addiction's Ministry. Lisa is also currently in undergraduate school obtaining her degree is Human Services Counseling and Certified Substance Abuse Counseling. Not forgetting where she come from Lisa's life is now devoted to helping the homeless, mentally unstable, those with challenged backgrounds, & who suffer with drug and alcohol dependencies. With a history of living homeless and addicted on the streets of Baltimore, she is more than capable to relate to the still sick and suffering addict. She has been working in the clinical & mental health field of addiction for over 14 years and has completed over 20 years of coursework of drug and alcohol addiction & recovery. With over 17 years of administrative & management experience Lisa now dedicates her life to doing the will of God. Living on purpose with purpose is a given for her as much help is needed with those who are brokenhearted and feel they have no hope. Lisa believes the words of Jesus when He said, "The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few." Matt. 9:37; and so she lives her life and believes in her heart that it is her duty and honor to give back to others what Christ so freely gave her - ANOTHER CHANCE!
